Leapfrog Adventures Globe

My boys absolutely love the LeapFrog Interactive Adventures Globe! It’s a fun and hands-on way for them to learn about geography and culture. With cool add-ons like the dinosaur package, they can explore different places in the world while playing games that they really enjoy. The globe makes learning about countries, landmarks, and traditions feel like an exciting adventure, and it’s become one of their favorite ways to play and discover new things about the world.

Catan Junior

Catan Junior is our favorite board game to play with the kids! It’s a simpler version of the classic Catan but with a cool pirate theme that my kids love. They get to collect resources, build pirate lairs, and trade with each other while figuring out how to win. It’s easy to learn and perfect for family game nights—it’s been a great way to get the kids thinking strategically while having a blast!

Taco vs. Burrito

Taco vs. Burrito is such a fun and silly card game! The goal is to build the weirdest, wackiest meal and score the most points while sabotaging your opponents with crazy action cards. It’s super easy to learn, and my kids get super amped up trying to sabotage their opponents —it always leads to a lot of laughs. Perfect for family game nights!

Bow & Arrow

This wooden bow and arrow set is perfect for little adventurers. My 5-year-old loves pretending to be Robin Hood while he shoots at his target! With its easy-to-use design and flexible rubber-tipped arrows, it’s safe and fun for kids to learn the basics of archery. Close adult supervision is required, as these rubber-tipped arrows can still cause some damage  (we have a hole in our grill cover as proof)!

Marble Run

After a lot of research, we went with the Marble Genius brand for all things marble runs because they have so many cool features and unique add-ons. For this starter kit, the pieces glow in the dark. We also went ahead and bought the chain ladder attachment, which is a big hit. Whenever friends come over, their parents ask for links to these kits—kids absolutely love them! FYI – we originally had a MindWare marble run set, and thankfully, the Marble Genius pieces are compatible.

Human Body Model & Book

For the curious kid who loves to learn, this gift set is a perfect pick! The Model Skeleton lets kids explore the human body with hands-on fun, featuring removable bones and organs to discover how everything fits together. Pair it with See Inside Your Body, a lift-the-flap book filled with colorful illustrations and easy-to-understand explanations of how our bodies work. Together, they make learning about anatomy exciting and fun, sparking curiosity and a love for science!

Wooden Abacus

A wooden abacus has been a fun way for my kids to practice math. My dad has been teaching them how to use it for some pretty advanced addition problems, and it’s been amazing to see them use this to calculate the answer. The colorful beads make it fun and easy to follow, and it’s a hands-on way to work through everything from basic addition to more complex calculations. It’s a timeless tool that makes learning math exciting and memorable!

Micro Kickboard Maxi Deluxe Scooter

The Micro Kickboard Maxi Deluxe Scooter is designed for 5-7-year-olds (its the next size up from the mini). This gets used daily at our house in the summer! Its durable and lightweight, and has an adjustable handlebar for different heights.

Guess in 10

This is another favorite game in our family! Players ask up to 10 yes-or-no questions to guess what’s on the game card, making it a great way to learn and practice critical thinking skills. While our boys love the animal and marvel packs, there are a ton to choose from to cater to the interests of your child!

Natural History Book

My 5-year-old and 8-year-old absolutely love National Geographic’s Natural History: The Ultimate Visual Guide. (My husband and I enjoy it just as much!) The jaw-dropping pictures capture the beauty of the world in such a captivating way, and I love how this book sparks our children’s curiosity about the amazing creation around them. Even though my 5 year old can’t read yet, he will sit and look through the pictures for an hour. It’s the perfect blend of stunning visuals and fascinating facts that engage the whole family!

Foil Fun

The Skillmatics Foil Fun Art & Craft Activity Book is a creative and engaging activity that my kids can’t get enough of! They say “it’s magic”! Each page is covered in shiny foil and features fun animal-themed designs that children can color and decorate. It’s such a fun, mess-free craft that keeps them entertained for hours while also helping them develop fine motor skills and creativity. A perfect gift for little crafters!

Osmo Starter Kit

Our kids love Osmo! You attach a little reflector to your tablet/iPad, and then your creations come to life on screen! A hands-on, interactive way to introduce preschoolers to early learning! This kit helps kids develop creativity, problem-solving, and early literacy skills. With fun activities like letter formation, dress-up games, and storytelling, it keeps little learners entertained while they build essential skills. A perfect gift for curious kids who love to learn through play!

More Osmo Games

Once you buy a starter kit and you have the Osmo base/reflector/mat, Osmo has a bunch more add-on games and activities that your kids will love! Kids can run their own pizzeria with Pizza Co., bring drawings to life in Monster, or solve global mysteries in Detective Agency. Creative minds will love Super Studio, while young coders can explore logic and problem-solving with the Coding Family Bundle. For adventurous kids, Secrets of the Dragons introduces fascinating creatures in an engaging way to teach math measurement and estimation concepts. These games blend screen time with tactile play, making them an exciting and educational gift! The Pizza Co. game is a big hit at our house, but check out all the different options below!

Pop-Pass-Catch Ball Game

This Pop & Catch Ball Launcher is a fun and active game that gets kids (& adults) moving! Just load the ball, press the button, and watch it launch into the air—then try to catch it in the basket. Play solo to test your reflexes or challenge a friend for even more excitement! This game is fun for the whole family.

Lightweight and easy to use, this set is perfect for outdoor play, backyard fun, or even indoor games on rainy days. It helps improve hand-eye coordination while keeping kids entertained with simple yet satisfying action.

A great pick for energetic kids who love interactive and skill-based play!

Flying Orb Ball

This hand-controlled flying spinner is like a mix between a drone and a boomerang, giving kids (and adults!) a super fun way to play indoors or outdoors. Just toss it into the air, and watch as it floats, spins, and even comes right back to you! With built-in LED lights, it glows as it flies, making it extra exciting at night.

A great pick for energetic kids who love interactive and skill-based play!

Minecraft Gifts

Minecraft is such a big hit with this age group, and these gifts are sure to be a favorite! My son absolutely loved the Diary of a Minecraft Wolf books—he couldn’t stop laughing! They’re a great way to get kids reading while still feeling like they’re immersed in the Minecraft world. A Minecraft Lego set is perfect for building their own adventures, and the slide sandals and t-shirt are a fun way to show off their love for the game. Whether they’re hanging out at home or heading out to play, they’ll love having some cool Minecraft gear. Pro tip — the Dollar Tree has little Minecraft figures that my boys love to collect!

The Floor is Lava

The Floor is Lava is a super fun, active game that gets kids up and moving! It turns your living room into a challenge as kids jump from tile to tile to avoid the “lava.” Perfect for ages 5-7, it’s a great way to burn energy indoors while having a blast!

Rock Tumbler Kit

The National Geographic Rock Tumbler Kit is an exciting hands-on STEM activity for kids and adults! This hobby edition kit includes rough gemstones, four polishing grits, and everything needed to turn ordinary rocks into stunning, polished gems. Our 4 year old and 8 year old sons get so excited to see rocks transform into magical gems. The kit also comes with a necklace, ring, and keychain fastenings, which my son used to make a dragon gemstone necklace (do your kids love the Dragon Masters book series, too?!)
